Using prepaid sim in bill phone

Hi - I have a Meteor bill phone that I want to use a Meteor prepaid simcard in. Don't need to keep the old number on the bill phone so I just want to buy a new sim and put it in the phone. Does anyone know if that's doable? I've done a search but haven't managed to come up with anything. Thanks!

It will work perfectly ok. Do need to worry. So long as it is the same network there will be no problem.

You could just ring Meteor and say you want to switch to prepay, and they should be able to switch you over without having to change your number (if that suits what you want to do).

Depending on what you signed up to with Meteor, you might still have to pay line rental for your bill phone - e.g. if you signed up to a particular plan for a specific period.
