As a CRH shareholder, I have a mandate to take all dividends as new shares.
I would be buying the shares at €18.37, whereas I could take the dividend in cash and buy the shares in the market at €15.
The deadline for changing the mandate is today, Thursday 16th at 12 noon.
Presumably, the board will scrap the scrip issue. But you should change your mandate just to be sure.
