Would appreciate any advice on this query!
I am presently on my 12 week unpaid maternity leave. I know that when you are on maternity leave that you are still have the same entitlements as if you were working i.e. in relation to annual leave and public holidays, and I assume the same is valid for unpaid maternity leave.
I work for a College/ University that closes for over a week during the christmas period, even though I am on leave at the moment would I be entitled to that week as well ??
Where can I find out any information regarding parental leave ?
My baby spent over 11 weeks in hospital and I am desperate to spend as much time at home with them as I can.
