Unicef Chief Executive Melanie Verwoerd Dismissed

Melanie Verwoerd has been sensationally dismissed by the board of Unicef Ireland because of her public association with tragic radio star Gerry Ryan.

A bit unfair considering she worked so hard for the organisation.

Does this constitute an unfair dismissal case? She didnt do anything wrong, her relationship with Ryan was personal and nothing at all to do with UNICEF.

I don't think it's appropriate to speculate on the fairness or otherwise of this decision. If she considers it unfair, she can take a case.
