Uneven cobble locking

We moved into our house a couple of years ago and inherited some cobble locking which is quite uneven which isn't so bad in the "Summer" but whenever it rains some quite deep puddles form which unfortunately are just around the car door!! I don't imagine there is much can be done bar ripping it all up and doing it again but I just thought I'd ask in case there are alternatives. If it's a case that I do need to get it re-done would it be typically much of a price difference in starting from fresh?
