My father has a UK residential rental property and a state pension that he gets from when he worked there years ago. Can anyone tell me if these incomes are taxable in Ireland as it appears that tax has already been deducted in the UK???

Any info appreciated.

thats a tricky one and you need to speak to an accountant, it is linked to residency status, ie domiciled non resident, resident, living abroad etc and Ireland has a taxation agreement with the UK etc. Look on the revenue site as well. You dont say how old your dad is and how long he has been living in ireland!

He's Irish resident and domcile, he just worked in the UK for a few years. But other than that he was born and lived his whole life in Ireland.
