Is this an account worth considering? I would like to aim to be in a position to take on a mortgage within the 3 year timeframe but that depends on a varety of factors what I cant predict at the moment
 
Yeah it has come up on other threads and makes sense if you're likely to be buying in the next 3 years. UB are always there or thereabouts when it comes to strong fixed rate too.

I'm currently in the market myself and noticed that BOI have added a similar product with similar terms.
