Hi,
does anyone know of an ariel or sender that l can use to send tv signals to a diff tv in the house without having to get sky-multiroom. So that if we are watching a programme downstair, the kid can watch something diff upstairs.
Thanks

i bought simething in harvey normans,, cant remember the name of it right now,, just plugs into the wall and a little magic eye sits on the sky box,, other unit goes on other TV,, works well but you can only watch the same channell on both tvs

The only way you can watch 2 different programs, is either you watch on terrestrial channel (i.e rte 1,tv3 etc) fed off of an external aerial, and one channel from your service provider (sky, ntl etc), or else you get a multiroom subscription from one of the providers (again, sky, ntl etc).

Solutions like tv senders etc, only transmit what your set top box or dvd player etc is sending out, i.e the same channel you are watching.

Another thing you could look at is freeview using spare sky boxes etc, but channels are limited.

You could get a "THE BOX"which i believe picks up all channels for a once off fee but not sure of the detail.
