turning down unsuitable AH (size, price, location, AH scheme only)

If you don't take an unsuitable house (size, price, location, AH scheme only) - what does it do to your chances of getting another affordable house?

How does it affect your place in the future AH draws?

It's disappointing to see DCC building a scheme soley of AH homes and not using Part V legislation. If you wish to sell in 10 years I feel it would prove difficult due to the stigma attached. See Tree lined avenue:

I don't think it effects your chances of getting another one.

I turned down a house through the affordable house new initive back in May this year.

I've since been offered an apartment from affordable housing.

It's though Meath County Council. After I turned the first one down (because I couldn't get as much as the house was as a mortgage) they then sent out a letter to get me to get a loan in principle letter from the EBS, so they knew how much I could get.

If you're offered a house by South Dublin CC and you turn it down, you go back to the bottom of the list.

They don't do lotteries.

They usually will only offer apartments suitable to your needs.
