I have been trying to get a part time (1 or 2 days a week or even half days) office clerk to do accounting duties, not too difficult work, qualifications not required. Would suit someone returning to the workplace. Don't know where to start looking for the ideal person. Anyone any suggestions?

Well, I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum to you! i've been looking for some time for clerical work either part or full time however, as i live rural i've had no success. I have a full clean driving licence and don't mind having to travel.

I'm in recruitment and have recruited recently for part time positions. There is a good amount of people out there looking for part time work, your only problem may be location. People who work part time generally use cars (picking up/dropping off kids etc.), if you have a car space it would really help. Putting an ad on irishjobs.ie would definitely give you a good return, a small lineage ad in fridays times might also work.
 
would you consider someone doing the books from home???
