Hi Three Queries regarding TRS ,
(a) A non married couple took out their First Mortgage for Property X in 2006 . After Marriage in 2007 they wanted to change wifes name to Married name . Bank would not allow just change of name on Mortgage , had to re apply for a new Mortgage , same Property X , same amount at same rate .
Question is, would the now married couple be considered Non First Time Buyers for Property X in relation to TRS as they had to take out a second Mortgage for same property.
(b)Separate Query : If a Non First time Buyer bought a new Main residence property with a new Mortgage in say 2005 when should the TRS stop.
(C) Separate issue , If TRS was stopped , who does one contact as regards to finding out when and why it was stopped, the Revenue or the Bank that issued the Mortgage .
