Hi all

I wonder if anyone could point me in the right direction to get the legal definition of trespass?

Our estate has a problem with people entering to park 'illegally', and I would like to know where the residents stand in the event that an accident occurs while these people are on are property, and what rights we have (if any) in demanding that they leave.

From Kieron Woods Legal Terms webpage

Trespass: Unlawful interference with another person or his property or rights. Trespass is a civil, not a criminal, offence and is actionable without proof of any actual damage.

Is the estate a private estate, or is it public? I'm not sure if someone parking on a public road would be trespassing, annoying and all as it may be.
