Am travelling soon with gfriend and my (but not gf's) daughter. We all have different surnames and will be travelling on seperate passports. A friend, who used to work in the travel industry, had said to me that sometimes this can cause problems...Has anybody any experiences?
Perhaps the friend thinks it mightn't be obvious that she's your daughter and someone may query the travelling arrangement. I can't see where or why this would arise but if you're in any way concerned I would bring a copy of your daughter's birth cert to show your name as her father.
you will be fine, my daughter has a different name to me and is only 2 in her passport , if we travel then airline security just usually say to her hello and that I suppose checking that shes not in distress and that Im not kidnapping her!!!!!!
