I hope someone can advise me of a good travel insurance co for skiing holidays , with regard to medical costs. My husband and I had ski cover with getcover.com last year for trip to austria. yet when he tore his cruciate when skiing, they refused to cover operation as they deemed it was not necessary.The claim is still ongoing 6 months later with our solicitor as the costs were over 7K. I was advised at the time that german insurance companies are much better to pay for surgery required due to such accidents. any advice or similar experiences?
