Hi,
Has anyone managed to clarify with Revenue the allowability of travel expenses for a landlord to travel to a rented property? I had to drive a number of times recently to my rented property to oversee work being done after damage by tenant and pay workmen e.t.c. on a round trip of 200 km which is quite costly. These trips were necessary but if they are allowable at what rate - a civil service rate per mile? Any help appreciated.
Thanks
