Hi - I will be transferring the proceeds of a house sale from Ireland to Australia shortly and was wondering if there are any alternatives to a standard bank to bank transfer? In the UK there are options like Moneycory, HIFX etc. which generally give a better rate than the banks and charge less as far as I know but I have been unable to find anything similiar in Ireland. The amount will be over 20k so the I will be asking the Bank of Ireland to involve the global section if I end up doing it through them.
