Transfer Ownership of Property

Hi, i hope this is the correct forum for this question. I would like to transfer one of my houses (which is in my name and that i own) to my son (in his name for him to own so he can then sell and invest in a jointly owned property).
What is the best way (and the cheapest way) to go about this?

Why not just sell the house yourself and give him the money? Saves on legal fees and also maintains his FTB status if the property he's jointly buying (with another FTB?) is going to be his main residence.
