The best administrators I know are people who came up through the system, who didn't do a course, but times were different then. The very few I admire don't get blinded by the 'talking up my job people'. They push you and you do what they ask because you want to rather than have to. Over time you trust and respect them because they have a proven track record. Obviously you need to work with different people to see this. I've had 7 bosses and only respested two of them. So what I'm saying is a course doesn't make you a good Administrator. That said, the course I'd like to do is Project Management.
