trading under a different name

I'm trying to get some info on a Company from the Companies Office - however I don't know the Company name as they trade under a different name to the Company name(which of course is perfectly legal). Anyone know how I can find out the Company name ?
 
Did you try googling them to see if it brings up any info?
 
Yes I did google the trade name - it gives plenty of info about the trade - ie a kiddies play area - but no details about the Company !! I'm thinking of getting into this business myself - hence the need to access their accounts in the Co's Office.
 
to register a business name you have to give details
of the company which is registering it

so you can get the copany name from the busniess name

thanks for that aabusername - (for arguments sake) are you saying that if I put a name over my shop of mickey mouse newsagents that I would have to register this business name with the Co's Office ??
 
go to [broken link removed] and search under business name

It will tell you who the name is registered to

Then you can search under the name, if a compnay

Do they have a website registered? If so, a [broken link removed] might throw up something useful.
