Trades People in East Galway

Anybody any recommendations for good trades people for a job to begin early next year in East County Galway. To an existing detached farmhouse I want:
New Back Kitchen - including new fitted kitchen, drylining, ceiling, electrics & plumbing
New Kitchen ceiling - new internal doors - solid fuel cooker - either remove or replace - cuphoards etc.
Bathroom - comlete re-fit - new electric shower/tiling etc.

I'm finding it very difficult to get quotes - believe it or not - what recession ?????

if you are looking for a painter I can recommend a very reliable one in Tuam area. Very neat and reasonable too. Has done few friends homes too- inside and out
