Anyone know what bricks and mortar stores sell Toshiba LCD TVs in Ireland/NI? I haven't seen any on the shop floor in the places I've looked.

I have seen them in and Dixons. But I reckon you would do better online. I bought my Tosh here. Also check [broken link removed] Or do a google and you will find more possibilities.

Thanks, I haven't looked in Dixons. I'm interested in seeing one of the ones with the slim frame around the screen. I also read mixed reports about non-HD picture quality on several Toshiba tvs - how do you find yours?

Many people have been disappointed with LCD technology in terms of the picture quality from Standard Definition (e.g NTL box/ SKY) sources. Some people even still claim to prefer SD images on CRT TVs (i.e older TVs). All LCD TVs come into their own when fed with HD sources, e.g. HD DVD, BLU Ray, or at the very least images from a cheaper upscaling DVD player. I have the 32C3030 Tosh and SKY. I also use better cables than the ones SKY provide to optimize the signal quality. The picture quality is very good. You should, however, try to buy a Full HD (mine is only HD ready) LCD preferably with 100hz processing to make it future-proof. Check out the new Z series from Toshiba. Very highly rated.
