Topup Mortgage Time Frame

Hi, Can anyone tell me if there is a time frame for draw down on a top up mortgage I am currently waiting to sort out Mortgage protection (medical being done on thursday) but I'm concerned we'll have to start again if this takes a while to sort out. Medical results etc. At the moment we've held the bank up 4 weeks waiting on Hibernian, There is no chance of losing house or anything as its just a top up but maybe new contracts etc.

Anyone know if there is length of time contracts last or banks will wait.

Tpo ups are usually a slow process anyway. I don't know of there being any limit on the length of time you have to wait before you draw down your top up but I have known of top ups to drag on for 3 or 4 month s becuse of delays with life cover etc. You might have to re-submit up to date bank statements, payslips etc but this depends on who your mortgage is with
