I am paid fully within the PAYE system but with no employment pension so I make annual single contributions. I made a contribution in October 2007 which I would like to put against the 2006 tax year (I haven't done a 2006 return yet but I understand I can go back 4 years). And I am about to make a contribution which I want to put against the 2007 tax year. Is this okay? Is it too late to put the October 2007 contribution against the 2006 tax year? Thanks.
