To pay monthly or weekly

I am a PAYE worker.I pay tax at the marginal rate.Is it better for me to be paid weekly or by the calender month?

There should be no difference in the amount of take home pay or taxes you pay on an annual basis. However if you are given a choice choose whichever one suits you best.
If you have monthly bills ie. rent or mortgage, utilities etc. it would seem more logical to choose monthly pay
