Hi all,
At this stage i have had enough of my open fire watching my money go up the chimney, i have an open fire with a backboiler and my question is if i were to replace that with a solid fuel burning stove with a boiler would there be much ripping and messing involved. What kind of work would we be looking at? Removal of fireplace? etc, i would love as little ripping as poss. I was looking at an inset stove with a boiler, is there any that could just sit into my fireplace without having to start cutting out the backboiler. Please help.
Thanks

There are many types of inset stoves, We are fitting one of these next week [broken link removed]. Fire place will have to come out, to remove back boiler. It will get messy enough and you will need to decorate afterwards.
