Tips required against burglars

Hi there,

one of my neighbour told me that somebody was looking into my window a bit suspiciously this week. The guy was dressed as a carpenter and was looking inside the window. I might be afraid that somebody was looking to break in the house. I have a wired alarm (but not connected anywhere) and I am looking for some advices to prevent break ins. I bought the light timer today and installed them as prevention but....

Give your community garda a call and see what advice they can offer. Might be as well to notify them of this or they may be aware of it already and give you some advice.

although referring to elderly people might suit everyone.
