Quick question.... was just wondering if anyone had been on the list for less than a year, yet was offerred a place?

Trying to find out about the Bettystown / Laytown area.

I was on the DCC list for 8 months and was offered a 2 bed apt, took 6 mnths before moving in, but i got offered it only after 8 months on the list.

Keep in mind DCC does it by lottery system. If you're in a local authority area that works on a points system you're probably a lot less likely to be offered a place in less than a year.

When i was on the list with DCC it was not a lotto system. I am in my place a year and half now and we were the last to go through the points system, and i was still only on the list 8 months when i was offered.
