Timberframe

Building an extension in South East and considering going Timberframe for the added insulation. The extension is approx 90m2 and we got quotes of around €30K from timberframe companies to provide us with the timberframe kit and erect it - walls, roof etc.

Has anybody any idea how much extra will it cost to bring the extension from the timberframe shell to builders finish i.e, foundation, floors, build up outer leaf in blocks, tile roof etc.?

That's ridiculously expensive in my opinion based on quotes I've seen recently. My brother in law for example got a quote for a 297m2 house (very labour intensive because the design is all over the place) which included 200mm stud, felting and battening the roof, all plasterboard for inside and the all in price (VAT, Crane hire) was approx 55K.
