Tiling Kitchen

Hi,
We're decorating the kitchen in a big way soon. The cupborads are going to be painted red (bottom) and cream (top). The worktop is black so I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on the colour the tiles on backsplash should be to tie it all together.

I think you should consider charcoal-coloured tiles - rectangular ones (tiled rectangularly), rather than squares.

This should tie everything together nicely without being over-bearing and would stand the test of time.
