Hi all,

I'm doing some research into SUSI grants.

Anybody know how capital gains realised in a particular year are treated for reckonable income purposes? The guidance notes suggest that only "part" of the gain is included as reckonable income but are silent on the basis of converting the gain into income. I rang the SUSI helpline and am none the wiser.

I just needed it for some research I was doing - the moment is passed. The helpline was pure useless.
