I was told at a recent dental visit that laser/bleaching teech caused erosion of the enamel on the teeth. I have to say I find mouthful of overwhitened teeth on women/men of a certain age a bit spookey looking. Visit a dentist/hygienist rather than a "dental spa". At least there you're are likely to get an overall dental hygience check.
dcwinter you raise a valid point. It is very important that one has a professional opinion on the suitability of one's teeth for the procedure. That said I would be surprised if smile clinic did not do so. What really worries me is that beauty salons are now offering bleaching without any assessment! One local salon to us is charging twice what we charge with no professional input!

I find it odd looking too. In fact, when older people get these very white veneers, I think they look like they've false teeth! Kinda defeats the purpose.
