Taxi drivers car has been off the road for 5 days: can he claim anything?

My brother is a taxi driver and he having problems with his car at the moment.

It has been in the garage for 5 days and as he cannot use any other car he is without any money coming in.

Is there a way around this or some thing he can do to claim lost earnings?

He is not very organized and says its just bad luck.

You should ask your brother to check with his insurance provider he may be able to claim loss of earnings due to the car being off the road.
