TAXAtion of rental Income

Hi,
May have been answered already but can somebody tell me if I am a paye worker and my only other source of income is rental income do I pay PRSI on the rental income

Also another tricky one is S23 relief used against taxable rental income or the actual tax amount payable


E.g if taxable rental Income is 4000pa

Actual Tax payable 1640

Which amount do I reduce my S23 Relief by.

PRSI wont apply but health levies may apply depending on whether a Form 12 or Form 11 tax return is required. S23 relief is a dductuion from rental income, not a tax credit.

Can I ask though the levy I thought I had to pay it on net rental income will be returning a form 11 not sure what difference it makes what form is returned as I thought the health levy was payable on all income
