I have recently set up a small Limited company. I am the sole employee and I am looking after the accounts and VAT myself.
I am looking for some advice on Payroll. I am trying to pay myself between 1000 and 1500 p.m, depending on business.
Can anyone help with payslip templates and explain the deductions I should be making(PAYE,PRSI,Income Levy) and at what percentage??
All help would be very much appreciated.

Even if you are the only employee, it would save you time to use a proper Payroll package. Collsoft Payroll costs €140 plus vat, and is very easy to use. You can input what you would want your take-home pay to be, and it will calculate gross. You can vary your pay from one period to another. No forgetting thresholds etc.
The end of year returns are prepared, ready to be submitted on-line. Worth every penny.

No connection to Collsoft, just a satisfied customer.
