Tax revision on 2006 return how do I do this?

Hi I posted last week regarding a cheque I received in 2007 for unpaid wages/ holidays etc in 2006. It seems now that this payment has to be applied to my 2006 tax return. How do I go about making a revision to a return made last year? The tax return for 2006 was submitted via ROS. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

If you have a copy of assessment for 2006, write to the tax office and ask them to include additional gross and tax deducted and to issue a new assessment for 06( Include copy of previous assessment)
