Tax returns delay ?

Hi, had my accountant sort out and file my tax returns for last year about 4 weeks. Since I've not heard back yet and its normally only a week or two, has any experienced a delay this year ?

Hi Gekko, contacted accountant, all was submitted and they put it down to a backlog but I wondered if anyone else was experiencing this sort of delay ?

Your return obviously went in on paper then? You / your agent need to join the 21st century, it's all about online filing these days! Less and less Revenue staff are involved in processing the paper forms...

I have heard nothing back either and I posted everything back about 2 weeks before the deadline.

Can the Form 11 be filled in online then???

On the off chance you're not just being a wind up merchant, http://www.revenue.ie/en/index.html pretty much the whole bottom half of the page is devoted to what yo can do online...

Gave them another call today, all done online..
