Tax relief on domestic refuse

In order to get tax relief on domestic refuse charges (a.k.a bin tags), is it simply a matter of going [broken link removed], ticking the box and entering your PPS?

I never knew tax relief was so easy!

Don't see how it could be this simple for pay per use tags - theres nowhere to say how many tags you used...?

As the tags request the household name/address its no bigger a deal for Revenue to get a note of these from the county council than it was to previously get a note of the set charges.

As far as I'm aware it is as simple as using the system above to claim this relief and its no different to claiming other reliefs without providing the receipts. As the possibility of an audit is always around it makes sense to only claim one's proper entitlement.

god i didnt know getting tax back could be so easy
just clicked on bin tags and will wait with great anticipation as to how they will work it out
