Tax refund - when will it be sent out.

Following the October tax return we were advised by our accountant that we are due to get a tax refund. Does anyone know when revenue will be sending out the refunds?

We got ours within a week of sending the return using ROS. They sent a cheque.

It always gives me a chuckle when I see threads like this - you do realise you could have got the refund months ago if you'd calculated your tax return early in the year...?!

If it turned out you owed money you could've held off until the deadline, but being due a refund you could have had it back ages ago...
