Tax rebate possibilities? Leaving Ireland

Dear all,

I left Ireland in 2007 and I came across my P45 for the year 2007 in which I had an income of €70k up to september 2007, paying €28k in tax. My question is am i entitled to any of this money back? i am still abroad and i have never returned. i sent a letter to the tax office and i never got a reply back.

just wandering if anybody has any advice on this.

Can't comment on whether or not you are due a refund, but the max time allowed of 4 years in which you can make a claim, appears to have passed. If you can prove that your original enquiry was last year perhaps you could appeal.
