Has there been any info on how Revenue are dealing with pensioners not paying tax .? There was a report in the papers suggesting that Revenue would only be looking into people who had pensions over 50000 euro pa.
Rest assured that it was just a report and a suggestion. Another pie in the sky perhaps to take the heat off the mess Revenue made suggesting 115,000 pensioners were tax cheats.
Revenue are interested in the taxation of any pension a person may have which brings them over the tax exemption rate, just like any other person.
