Hi all, was wondering whether you are taxed as normal while being put on gardening leave?

If being paid as normal then yes you would be taxed as normal.

You are seeing out your notice without having to do any actual work. And we have wonderful weather to do your "gardening".

If you are getting redundancy it can be used to use up your statutory tax free element if it is not specified in yiur contract
