I am working in the middle east since Sept 2009 and intend to return to work back in Ireland next month. I was resident in Ireland for 285 days in 2009. I have spent the following no of days in Ireland since 2009:
2010 - 28 days
2011 - 36 days
2012 - 33 days
2013 - 46 days
2014 - 30 days
2015 - 13 days
Could anyone please tell me if I have to pay income tax on my tax free salary earned here for any of those years i.e 2009 to 2015. Am I entitled to claim split year residence for 2009 & 2015 to avoid tax on my employment income?
