I want to give Savings Certs for €3000 each to grandchlidren. To do so they must sign the application forms and I pay a cheque direct to the PO. Is there any danger of losing the tax-exempt status by this method? (If need be I can of course give the grandchildren cheques and let them go to PO but would prefer to do the business myself). I will keep records of all numbers etc.
