Tax Credits

I ammarried, both working and I have the bulk of the tax credits with other half having the minimum amount. This happened when he was off work for a while and we just carried on. I do earn a bit more than him but combined we would be in the higher tax bracket anyway. Is there any benefit to staying this way or if we go back to 50/50?

no benefit if ye would be in higher bracket

No problem with tax credits is but if standard rate cut off is wrong you may end up overpaying tax.
