Tax Credits when living with partner

hi,

first time user so apologies if doing anything against the norm.

basically i am living with my partner (who has two children from a previous relationship), she was married but now separated.

She is not working and to be honest nearly makes more sense for us to live apart in terms of what she can claim from social welfare. But honestly we would prefer not to go this route. So looking to see if any way to find euros elsewhere.

Am I able to claim her tax credits? Any information would be great.

Basically, the answer is no, and from a tax / social welfare perspective ye would be better off either living apart or being married.
