I rang the revenue about a query on my tax credit certificate - I have got a flat rate expenses of 139 which I have no clue what is it. When I call the revenue, they told me it is something to do with my job and when I ask for more explanation, I did not get any except that I was entitled to it.
Any one has any idea, it doesn't make any sense to me?
Hi Samantha, Whats your occupation? Here is the full list of expenses that can be claimed by different occupations. Look at page 30 of the following link.
I think just because its on the tax credit cert does not mean you will find it on your balancing statement. 'Notsosure' is correct that there are 'flat rate expenses' for certain occupations.
