Tax Collection Agent or TAIN when applying for CGT clearance

We have a tax collection agent (as non-residents) for Irish property - which is my sister.
We have to apply for a CGT Clearance cert from Revenue on sale of property.
Revenue says person applying for clearance must have a TAIN.
My sister is a private individual and I don't think has a TAIN- Will the special tax number assigned to her as a collection agent do?
Thanks

Anyone can apply for TAIN number from revenue. It would be the same number. However, she may not have access rights to your CGT. You could all so apply your self.

There's a lot more to getting a Letter of No Audit than simply putting down someone's name on an application.

You can apply yourself but you'll need to know exactly what you're doing.

It's a significant task as your solicitor is prohibited from distributing the proceeds of a property sale to you until it issues.
