Tax back after leaving job and setting up own business?

Hi,

I left my job in July of last year and set up my own business. Someone mentioned to me that I can claim back tax as I didn't work for the full year, is this true? And if so, how do I go about claiming it back? Thanks!

You might have to file a form 11 as you are probably registered for tax as self employed due to your own business (i assume it's not a lld company)
