t v sound through h fi what procedures

Hi, as the title suggests what do I do to get my tv aound through my surround hi fi system. Unfortunately it does not have a scart . It was configured on an older t v before I moved house, and cant figure which route to take.

thanks clubman i got sound now but very distorted not as good as l;ast time it was set up.
