I took out a mortgage in my own name in 2011, had one child at the time. I was able to borrow more by not adding my partner as he was unemployed at the time. I switched mortgage 18 months ago, again in my name only. We have since gotten married and now have three children. I was looking at switching again but was wondering would I have to change the mortgage into both our names now that we are married?
